The Bulkley River Lodge is on a remote section of one of the best Steelhead rivers on the planet located within the traditional Wet'suwet'en Territory. River-front access and no neighbors are great assets for a fishing lodge.
The Fish
Steelhead from 5 to 30 pounds... These wild fish are well known for attacking surface presentations throughout the season.

Primetime for Steelhead is late August to the middle of November
The River
The Bulkley River has one of the largest, if not the largest wild Steelhead runs in the world. The river is blessed with over ninety miles of classic fly water.
Rates and Insurance
7 Day Package
- 7 nights of accomodation at the Bulkley River Lodge
- 7 days of guided Steelhead fishing using drift and/or jet boat (two guests per guide)
- Deluxe meals prepared by our professional chef
- Airport transfers to the Smithers airport from the lodge
- Premium spirits and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine with dinner
- Fishing licence
$8500.00 US
Not included in your trip:
- Gratuities and air transportation to and from Smithers, BC.
Payment:
- A 50% deposit is required within 15 days of booking. Deposits can be made by check or wire-transfer.
All checks should be made payable to Bulkley River Lodge and mailed to Box 2005, Smithers, BC, V0J-2N0.
- Balance is due by June 15, 2020.
Travel Arrangements:
- There are several flights daily from Vancouver, BC to Smithers airport. Our guests arrive the night before their trip and usually stay at the Storks Nest or the Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge. To make reservations at Storks Nest call 1 250 847 3831 or Prestige Hudson Bay lodge call 1 250 847 4581.
Please call the Bulkley River Lodge on the evening of your arrival to review your pick- up time and fishing arrangements for the following morning. We will shuttle you back to the airport on the morning of your departure. See our Contact Page.
